Saturday
22nd November
Make table decorations inspired by nature, in copper or brass, with artist and metalsmith Lydia Asscher.
Saturday 22nd November, 2025 from 12.30pm - 4.30pm.
In this workshop, participants will be using copper or brass wire and thin sheet to create sculptural table decorations which can be added to flower arrangements. You will have a range of inspirational foliage (brought by Lydia) to work from. You will also gather your own. The workshop will begin with a walk about the land outside the barn to collect bits of nature for inspiration. You may wish to bring organic matter or garden cuttings with you too. You will then begin translating these foraged findings into metal. The aim is for each person to complete at least 3 complimentary decorations.
All materials and tools will be provided.
